Entries are coming in thick and fast for the IOM Great Southern Buster to be hosted by the Albany Radio Sailing Club on 29 & 30 August.
With fifteen boats already entered and with more expected the fleet could potentially swell to around twenty leading to some exciting racing at the Sanford Road venue.
The long range weather forecast is "semi" favourable with a sunny Saturday with temperatures hovering in the high teens while on Sunday some light drizzle with a coolish thirteen degrees forecast. Needless to say, the temperature means not much as long as you have breeze and we can expect around 8-15 knots WSW both days of the championship.
If you've got a weekend free, then get your accommodation booked and head on down for an absolutely fantastic weekend of sailing and there's even the normal dinner on the Saturday night to enjoy a bit of banter with your fellow sailors and discuss the high's and low's of the first day of sailing.
