The Fleetwood event will be the first Global Challenge since being held in 2018 on Lake Hubbard in Dallas, USA and competitors have been given advance warning from the locals to "prepare your boats well, 25 knots of wind and half metre waves happen at Fleetwood!  Waterproofing is essential."

Sounds like a whole lot of fun!

Two West Australian's making the journey are Bruce Robins & Andrew Donkin who will be joined by fellow Australian's Chris Dance (VIC), John Wyatt (NSW), Andrew Donkin (WA), Richard Fisher (TAS), Phil Burgess (NSW), Peter Newman (VIC) in joining sailors from Bermuda, Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, Sweden, UK and USA to compete in the event.
